The African Union has been wary of outside intervention in the Libya conflict from the start, and last week, they tried to organize a cease-fire in Libya. Jonathan Stevenson of Foreign Policy argues that while the AU isn't an exemplary organization, ignoring its concerns about Western intervention in Libya is a recipe for disaster.
