Op-Ed: Advanced Placement Isn't For Every Student

High school students take advanced placement classes to prepare for the rigors of college coursework. Yet, retired teacher Junia Yearwood says, in some schools, students who are unprepared are being placed in A.P. to improve minority enrollment figures.
