President Barack Obama and the top two leaders in Congress will negotiate on the U.S. budget again tonight after an afternoon meeting failed to end a stalemate that threatens a government shutdown.“We’re not there yet,” House Speaker John Boehner, an Ohio Republican, said outside the White House. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, said he was “disappointed” that negotiations haven’t resolved remaining differences and that the leaders will meet with the president again at the White House later in the day.
